Take up to one year from date of registration to complete this course. Progress through 12 learning modules narrated by the instructor. Topics include: Importance and history of Food Safety; Identifying and Controlling Hazards; Personnel Practices, Hygiene, Agricultural Water, Soil Amendments, Animal Activity, HACCP Preliminary Steps and Principles. Please note that the Produce Safety Rule is not presented.
Module quizzes reinforce your knowledge and retention of the material and may be retaken to improve your score. The final exam is based on module quizzes.
Fees include: downloadable presentation slides and support material, quizzes, final exam, and an IHA Approved HACCP Certificate upon successful completion of all 12 modules, quizzes and final exam.
