We partner with corporations, industry associations, NGOs, and social and environmental stakeholder groups to facilitate and develop proprietary voluntary sustainability standards that break new ground in environmental and social responsibility and provide a platform to recognize leadership efforts in multiple industries.
Job Overview
The Technical Coordinator, SCS Standards provides support to technical staff performing a variety of both complex and routine administrative and analytical duties. The primary responsibilities for this position include scheduling briefings and meetings, communicating with stakeholders and clients, supporting facilitation, note-taking, and follow-up of standard development committee meetings, ranking tasks in order of importance and impending deadlines, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining program files, copy-editing technical documentation, and collecting, compiling, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain program and client files and documentation meticulously
- Assist in the preparation of scoping and proposals, ensuring all necessary details are captured
- Communicate with clients to collect contracts and agreements
- Issue invoices, track aging reports and closure
- Track project progress in Salesforce and other project management tools
- Support project leads on administrative and technical tasks
- Maintain up-to-date project-related tracking spreadsheets
- Conduct reviews and copy-editing of deliverables prior to finalization
- Manage daily email and Microsoft Teams communications for shared email inboxes
- Develop and maintain internal work instructions to support Operations
- Apply professional judgement on the prioritization of projects and tasks
- Other responsibilities to support the SCS Standards team, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a relevant discipline and
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent organizational, writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently to problem-solve and navigate ambiguity
- Initiative and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and learn quickly
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English with professional experience in written and verbal communication
- Enthusiasm for SCS' mission
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in third-party certification, standard development, or assurance
- Familiarity with ISEAL Alliance

Working Remotely
SCS is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This is a home-office based role and may include travel with local, domestic, and/or international trips. Details will be clarified during the recruitment process.
Estimated Annual Salary
$51,000 - $60,000
