Segmented Seafood HACCP Training (Two-Part Course)
Complete your certification in a segmented approach that allows you to complete the certification in two convenient parts:
- Segment One (Online & Self-Paced): This is the foundational internet course you take through Cornell University. It covers the core HACCP principles and regulatory requirements, Registration | Seafood HACCP
- Segment Two (Virtual & Instructor-Led): Once Segment One is successfully completed, you are eligible for our one-day virtual course. Our instructors will review the material and guide you through the practical development of a complete Seafood HACCP Plan.
Upon successful completion of both segments, you will receive your official course certificate from the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO).

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Conduct a Hazard Analysis
- Develop a HACCP Plan for seafood products as required by the FDA regulation
- Reassess or modify a HACCP Plan as necessary and/or required by the FDA regulation
- Review HACCP Plan records as required by the FDA regulation

You must submit your Cornell University Segment One Notice of Completion prior to attending this course.
Segment One Completion: What to Expect
- After passing all Segment One knowledge assessments, an email will be sent to you within 24 hours with instructions for the eCornell Student Portal.
- Use the portal to download your official "Notice of Segment One Completion."
- This notice is your required proof — or "ticket" — needed to register for and attend the Segment Two training with SCS Global.
