Job Overview
The Specialist I, Quality Assurance is responsible for monitoring compliance with corporate-level and program-specific policies and procedures to meet the internal and external requirements of SCS, as it continues to grow in size and complexity as a certification/verification/conformity assessment body, including expansion into international markets and to support for global programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Assurance department in developing and monitoring quality management systems, policies, and procedures to improve the efficacy and services delivery of the company, including international programs and affiliates
- Support Quality Assurance department in fostering the culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in the company
- Conduct internal audits and support external assessments for global programs, including coordination across multiple regions and time zones
- Support program personnel in developing functional program documentation that ensures Quality System compliance
- Provide guidance and support to program personnel prior to and during internal and accreditation/external audits
- Support coordination and facilitation of external assessments with various accreditation bodies
- Support management of the Internal Audit Portal to ensure that programs address and follow up on internal and external findings
- Support facilitation of complaints and appeals process
- Support the developing of tools and systems for greater efficiency of QA processes across global operations
- Provide guidance and support to program personnel in diverse cultural and regulatory environments
- Support and facilitate communication and collaboration with international teams, partners, and accreditation bodies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or
- Equivalent relevant professional experience and
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Excellent organizational, writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and learn quickly
- Initiative and ability to handle multiple, concurrent projects and work independently; responsive and adaptive
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint with proficiency in other programs and database management systems
- Strong understanding of third-party certification initiatives
- Excellent technical writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese
- Experience supporting remote and distributed teams globally
- Cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of international regulatory and compliance frameworks

Working Remotely
At this time, SCS Global Services is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This role will be based out of your home office.
Estimated Annual Salary
$50,918.40 - $66,266.74
