Job Overview
Verifi is a SaaS platform that leverages artificial intelligence to transform how organizations plan, execute, and manage audits from end to end. Verifi empowers internal audit teams, external auditors, and compliance professionals to work faster, smarter, and with greater confidence. We are building the future of audit management and are looking for a Product Owner who shares our passion for innovation and operational excellence.

As the Product Owner for Verifi, you will serve as the strategic bridge between our customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams. You will own the product roadmap, champion the customer experience, and ensure that every feature we ship is aligned to market needs and business objectives. You will operate at the intersection of product strategy and execution, translating a deep understanding of audit management workflows into a compelling, prioritized backlog that drives measurable outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Roadmap and Strategy

  • Own and maintain a prioritized product roadmap informed by customer insights, competitive intelligence, and business strategy
  • Define quarterly and annual product themes, milestones, and success metrics in partnership with leadership
  • Continuously evaluate market trends in audit management, GRC, and AI to identify differentiation opportunities
  • Manage trade-offs and work with stakeholders to make data-driven prioritization decisions across competing needs

Customer Experience and Voice of the Customer

  • Champion the end-to-end customer experience, ensuring that every touchpoint from onboarding through daily use is intuitive and valuable
  • Conduct regular customer discovery sessions, interviews, and feedback analysis to surface unmet needs and pain points
  • Partner with UX/UI Design to translate customer requirements into user-centered designs and workflows
  • Define and track key customer experience metrics (NPS, CSAT, adoption, retention) and drive continuous improvement

Feature Alignment and Delivery

  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications that clearly communicate intent to engineering
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning ceremonies within an Agile/Scrum framework
  • Collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to ensure feasibility and technical alignment
  • Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and coordinate UAT, beta programs, and phased rollouts
  • Communicate release notes, feature updates, and product changes to internal and external stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure product positioning, demos, and enablement materials reflect current capabilities
  • Align with Compliance and Security teams to ensure the product meets relevant regulatory and data-handling standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Align with Operations to ensure the product meets individual certification program standard requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated experience owning a product roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through delivery
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Aha!, Productboard, or similar)
  • Proven ability to distill complex requirements into clear user stories with measurable acceptance criteria
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain experience in audit management, internal audit, compliance, risk management, or GRC platforms
  • Familiarity with AI product development, including working with technical teams to productize feature sets
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification
  • Experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo) and A/B testing frameworks

Working Remotely
SCS is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This is a home-office based role and may include travel with local, domestic, and/or international trips. Details will be clarified during the recruitment process.

Estimated Annual Salary
$130,000 - $150,000
