SCS provides:

  • AWS Certification – Our assessment includes an on-site visit to determine whether your water management processes fulfill the requirements of the AWS standard.
  • AWS Consulting – We review the logistical operations of your water management processes with your team, and work with you to determine the best course of action to achieve AWS Certification.

Process

We are happy to assist you address your needs, evaluate your responsible water management processes, and guide you through the certification process.  Typical steps are as follows:

Alliance for Water Stewardship Certification Process

  1. Client downloads AWS Standard and reviews intent, criteria and indicators
  2. Client downloads, completes, and submits the site registration form at www.a4ws.org
  3. Client applies the AWS Standard’s requirements to its operations and procedures
  4. Client submits application to SCS Global Services
  5. SCS discusses the process and requirements with client, and provides an estimate of time and cost; (an optional pre-assessment may help to understand what still needs to be done to achieve the standard)
  6. SCS conducts on-site visit to perform the audit and assess operations and procedures
  7. SCS writes report based on submitted materials and findings from the site visit
  8. SCS makes a final certification decision
  9. Qualifying clients receive AWS certification
  10. Certification renewal is required every 3 years

  1. Contact SCS for assistance in helping you achieve AWS Certification, and provide documentation as needed
  2. SCS provides price quote for services
  3. SCS and client agree on services and work together to fulfill client’s needs
