Carey Allen, an experienced business leader in the food safety and quality certification arena, is SCS’ Vice President and Managing Director for its Food and Agriculture division. She oversees operations and strategy related to SCS’ diverse portfolio of food safety, food quality, social responsibility, and sustainable agriculture verification services. Ms. Allen has extensive experience in the development and implementation of product certification programs and food safety management systems, with a strong background in food manufacturing quality and product development.
Prior to her tenure at SCS, Ms. Allen worked at NSF International, where she led the global Supply Chain Food Safety Certification division, serving most recently as the Senior Managing Director for Product Certification division. Over the course of her career, Carey has worked with many leading brands, including Gorton’s Seafood and Kraft-Oscar Mayer Foods. Ms. Allen is the proud alum of three land grant universities: University of Idaho, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Michigan State University.
