Implementing SQF Systems Training - Storage & Distribution

The implementation of an SQF management system addresses a buyer’s food safety requirements and provides the solution for businesses supplying local and global food markets. This GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) recognized program focuses on the Storage and Distribution sector (SQF Modules 2 and 12).

* Changes in the Ed. 8.1 Code to Ed. 9 will be provided during the training. Implementation date for the SQF 9 Code is May 2021.

  • Promote an understanding of the SQF Code as applicable to Food Sector Category 26
  • Create a knowledge base to facilitate the successful implementation of an SQF System
  • Show how a HACCP-based approach manages food safety and quality hazards in an operation
  • Know the process for SQF certification

Classroom Training

The SQF Code for Manufacturing applies specifically to Food Sector Categories 7-22, 31-34 and includes Module 2 (Systems Elements) and Module 12 (Storage and Distribution).

Designed to provide current and new SQF Practitioners and their team members with the tools and knowledge to develop and maintain their SQF food safety management system and understand the process for aligning with FSMA regulatory requirements.
