    SCS offers certification to the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Standard and Harmonized Produce Safety Standard (HPSS) for primary producers of fruits and vegetables, as well as combinable crops, GRASP, & Tesco supplier certification. Suppliers to Costco with field-packed crops must complete a Costco Addendum Audit.

  • PrimusGFS

    SCS certifies to PrimusGFS, which covers Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as well as Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS). Certification options cover a range of operation types from growing to minimally-processed produce. PrimusGFS is a leading food safety standard, benchmarked to the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and accepted by buyers around the world.

  • GMP and Harmonized GAP Audits

    SCS provides extensive GMP auditing services for packing, cooling/cold storage, processing and storage facilities. The SCS GMP audit (complies with cGMPs 21 CFR 117) includes HACCP plan review and verification. We also offer the Primus Standard GMP audit with optional HACCP plan review and assessment. SCS also audits to the United Fresh Harmonized GAP standard for field and post-harvest operations plus Tomato and Mushroom GAP metrics.

  • SQF - Safe Quality Food

    SCS certifies all primary production, manufacturing, processing, transport, storage, distribution, and retail. GFSI-level Harmonized GAP audits within Module 7H are available at no additional charge.

  • BRC Global Standard for Food Safety

    SCS certifies food processing and packing operations in which food is handled, processed, packed, stored or distributed. SCS conducts BRC audits for Issue 7 in all eighteen categories.

  • Food Safety for Seafood

    SCS offers seafood product testing, export testing for seafood, seafood HACCP audits, and BRC or SQF certification.

  • Food Safety Training

    SCS is an approved SQF Training Center, BRC training partner, IHA approved HACCP training and FSMA-related training provider. We deliver on-site courses, live webinars, on demand online and customized trainings in North America, Central and Latin America.
