Safeway's Bright Green product line for household products offers customers competitively priced products with enhanced environmental attributes. Bright Green products include biodegradable cleaners, paper products made from 100 percent recycled fibers, energy-efficient light bulbs, and more.
SCS is Safeway's partner in the Bright Green program, providing initial program development support, and conducting independent product claim reviews. SCS provides Safeway and its vendors with a credible, cost-effective process for assessing products, refining product claims and mitigating risks.
