SCS Global Services and AgSafe Announce Partnership

SCS Global Services (SCS), a leading food safety training center and third-party certification body, and AgSafe Food & Farms, a nonprofit organization providing worker health and safety education and services, are pleased to announce their new partnership. Through complementary and new joint education, training, and service offerings, the two organizations will provide even greater support for growers, packers, distributors, and farm labor contractors, addressing critical issues impacting worker safety, health, human resources, and food safety.

Both SCS and AgSafe have been providing high quality food and agricultural services in California and throughout the western hemisphere for decades.

AgSafe and SCS Global Services Partnership

SCS food safety training and auditing services help businesses protect their brands, reduce risk, and meet food safety requirements. Public and customized courses train professionals in programs such as:

  • HACCP for Produce Operations
  • FSMA Preventive Controls and Foreign Supplier Verification Program
  • Internal Auditing
  • GFSI Standards – SQF, GLOBALG.A.P., and BRC.

SCS also provides self-paced, online trainings, including Spanish versions of GLOBALG.A.P. and HACCP courses. “SCS is excited to partner with AgSafe, a like-minded customer-service focused organization, as part of our ongoing commitment to high-quality education and services for the food and agriculture sectors,” said Diane Dulmage, SCS Training Services Manager.

AgSafe has been working to advance the food and farming industries efforts to ensure a safe, sustainable workforce and food supply, by providing practical education and resources. Its “boots on the ground” approach is geared toward teaching both the “why” and “how” for protecting workers in the field, as well as in packing, processing and food manufacturing facilities.

More information about the partnership and courses is available on the SCS Global Services website, including a complementary webinar posted on the SCS Resource Center. SCS joins AgSafe at its Annual Conference, “Activate18,” in Monterey, California on Tuesday, February 27 - March 1 (register here). Radojka Barycki, SCS Technical Training Manager, will present two sessions in Spanish on important food safety topics during the conference.
